As part of our Science Week celebrations Ms. Coughlan and some fifth and sixth year students hosted a group of fifth class pupils from Holy Family School in Rivervalley. The students carried out a variety of fun experiments and were given a talk about life in the NASA Space camp by Jessica Geraghty who was lucky enough to spend a week there last year. It was fantastic to see the next generation of scientists in action.
As part of Science Week, our 1st year students visited Explorium – The National Sport & Science Centre. Students took part in a range of hands-on, interactive activities that brought science, technology, and sport to life. From physics challenges to immersive exhibits, they explored how science shapes the world around them — and had great fun along the way!
A fantastic learning experience for all involved. Well done, 1st years!
