TRANSITION YEAR (4th Year)
Transition Year (TY) is a one-year, optional, programme taken after the Junior Cycle and before the Senior Cycle. It bridges the gap between these cycles by offering a flexible curriculum that focuses on independent, self-directed learning, personal development, work experience, and community service. In Swords Community College we offer our students a wide range of subjects in Transition Year.
All students will study the following core subjects; English, Irish, Maths, French/Spanish, TY Careers and Portfolio, SPHE, Physical Education
